Terms and Conditions of Use and Accommodation Services

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website home-stay-braga.pt and the accommodation services provided by Carla Castro, NIPC 206740751, located at Rua das Gramelhas nº22, Este São Pedro, 4715-431 Braga. By accessing the Website or making a reservation, the User agrees to these Terms.

1. Definitions
   “Website” refers to home-stay-braga.pt.
   “Provider” refers to Carla Castro.
   “User” refers to any person accessing the Website.
   “Guest” refers to any User with a confirmed reservation.
   “Accommodation” refers to the licensed Local Lodging unit operated by the Provider.

2. Scope of Services
   The Website allows Users to view accommodation information, check availability, submit booking requests, complete reservations and contact the Provider. The Provider may update or discontinue Website functionalities at any time.

3. Booking Conditions
   3.1 Reservations
   Reservations may be made through the Website, approved booking platforms or direct communication. A reservation is confirmed only when the Guest receives written confirmation.

3.2 Prices
All prices are displayed in euros and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Additional fees may apply, including cleaning fees, city tax, deposits and late check-in fees.

3.3 Payments
Accepted payment methods may include card payments, bank transfer and digital payment solutions. Payment requirements depend on the selected rate. A refundable damage deposit may be required.

4. Cancellation Policy
   Unless specified otherwise, cancellations made 14 or more days before check-in are fully refundable. Cancellations within 14 days before check-in are refundable at 50 percent. No-shows are non-refundable.
   The Provider may cancel reservations due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns or suspected fraud. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

5. Check-in, Check-out and Guest Responsibilities
   Guests must comply with the check-in and check-out times communicated by the Provider.
   Guests must respect the maximum occupancy, maintain the property in good condition, observe noise rules and avoid illegal or disruptive behaviour. Violations may result in removal without refund.
   Guests are financially responsible for damage caused to the property or its contents.

6. Liability
   The Provider is not liable for theft or loss of belongings, damages resulting from misuse, interruptions in electricity, water or internet supply caused by third parties or force majeure events.
   Guests are responsible for damages they cause during their stay.

7. Intellectual Property
   All content on the Website is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission from the Provider.

8. Data Protection
   Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws for reservation management, legal obligations and communication related to the stay. Guests may request access, correction or deletion of their data.

9. Third-Party Tools
   The Website may use third-party booking engines, analytics platforms or payment processors. The Provider is not responsible for service interruptions caused by such tools.

10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
    These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.
